A 35-year-old male with a previous history of bilateral vision loss from serpiginous (geographic) choroiditis was given vision rehabilitation. Although visual acuities were relatively good, the characteristics of the scotomata, the restraints imposed by more conventional low vision devices, and the specific visual needs of the patients suggested the prescribing of a closed circuit television (CCTV). The visual sequelae of this rare form of choroiditis may be devastating even after medical or surgical therapy, but may be favorably managed by vision rehabilitation.
