Polyglactin mesh grafting of the pig aorta. The two-year follow-up in an experimental animal

Acta Chir Scand. 1980;146(2):97-9.

Abstract

The fate of polyglactin mesh grafting of a pig descending aorta was studied by arteriography and routine histological techniques. After two years a regenerated arterial tissue had formed which retained most characteristics of a normal aortic wall.
