The addition of an anti-CEA antibody in the culture medium of 13 distinct human neoplastic cell lines actually decreased the proliferation rate of each of these 13 cell lines. These 13 cell lines belonged to three different histopathological groups, i.e. colorectal tumors, non-small-cell-lung tumors and astrocytic tumors.
