Management of vascular trauma

Compr Ther. 1994;20(3):154-61.

Abstract

The management of victims with vascular injuries is a challenging affair. Speedy transport, prioritizing injuries, and prompt repair of injured vessels produce good results with minimum morbidity and mortality. An increasing trend of urban violence and invasive medical care indicates the importance for having a coherent strategy for managing these problems.
