Abstract
Objective:
This study was conducted to determine whether an immediate change occurs in the blood flow distribution in hepatic segments after segmental portal vein embolization.
Conclusion:
We found an immediate change in the distribution of blood flow in the liver after embolization; with portal vein embolization, we found an immediate increase in the hepatic artery blood flow in the affected segments.
