Giorgio Iaconetta is a confirmed university researcher and adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Salerno. He obtained a classical high school diploma in 1980 at the “Bernardino Telesio” classical high school in Cosenza. He enrolled in the 1980-81 academic year at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Naples, "Federico II", and he graduated from the same faculty on 23 October 1986 with 110/110 honors, a special mention, and academic acclaim from the Commission. He obtained a qualification to practice the medical–surgical profession, obtaining a score of 86/90, in the second half of 1986 (November 1986) at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Reggio Calabria. Since 26 February 1987, he has been registered in the professional register of the Order of Doctors/Surgeons of the province of Cosenza. He obtained his specialization in neurosurgery on 25 October 1991 with 50/50 marks and honors at the School of Specialization in Neurosurgery of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the “Federico II” University of Naples. His research keywords include maxillofacial and oral surgery.
