I am tropical forest ecologist with extensive experience working in tropical sub-humid forests (Calakmul Biosphere Reserve), subtropical Chinese forests (Heishiding plot), and European forests (Finland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania and Spain). I am currently working on tree resilience to drought across European forests to try to understand why some trees are more resilient than others and how this varies across different tree species, provenances and forest types.
