Then Curtiss Twellman from I Hunt to talk about their program on learning more about hunting after you complete your hunter safety course and get in the field. Tony sitting on the Dock of the Harbor with a Lake Michigan report, then Big Fish Brooksy ( Brook Wheeler ) from Grand have will be coming on with his 39 inch just under 30 pound king salmon he took near Grand Haven and he holds over 80 Master Angler Awards for the State of Michigan. Then Eilleen Rice, my favorite first grade school teacher from East Prairie School in Skokie with her fishing program for kids, did something we all need to remember. She took her Mother In Law who loves fishing but because of age and some physical limitations they were able with the help of Night Prowler Guide service take her out on a pontoon boat for a day of sun wind and fishing in Geneva. Just like the young kids we need to get the old kids out also. Then Ken Husker O’Malley will come on and talk about summer patterns we need to be switching to catch more fish. Then Ed Eisch the Assistant Chief of Fisheries for the State of Michigan will tell us how they had to euthanize 30,000 Atlantic Salmon fry to insure the health of the fish in Lake Michigan and rivers across the State of Michigan. On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 5-25-2024 show, we have The Capt.Tony with Lake Michigan Report, Troy Showerman Project Manager for the Forest Preserve of Cook County and his 10 million dollar project with funds from the State of Illinois to improve so much in the Palos Forest Preserve areas. Then Ty Nielsen and Zack Widelski from Wheaton North High school won the IHSA Bass Fishing Championship against 73 other teams from across the State of Illinois at Carlyle Lake last weekend. On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 5-18-2024 show we are at our live remote on Braidwood Lake for the Fish for A Cure fishing tournament. We have Capt.Tony's Lake Michigan Report, then Logan Kap from Constellation will be there for the Cystic Fibrosis Charity, then Brett Nauman from Constellation who has worked on this event for many years will bring us up to date. We are trying to get over the $900,000 level of all funds raised for the charities in 23 years
