Ahead of the premiere of the Netflix show’s fourth season, the actors recently opened up in a joint interview for the cover of Cosmopolitan about navigating their public and personal lives online and the negative sides of social media.
“Every generation goes through an invasion of privacy when you become a public figure,” Daviss said. “You wish, as an artist, people would engage in the art and you could have who you are to yourself. But now it’s about trying to figure out who you are and what things you need to keep personal versus what things you can throw on social media.”

It seemed like the Pogues were ready to leave their treasure hunting life behind after finding El Dorado and the stack of gold. I mean, it looked like they definitely had enough to probably live out the rest of their lives comfortably. Well, that's not the case as the Outer Banks season 4 part 1 trailer reveals.
The 10-episode season has been split into two parts, with the first five episodes coming Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 and the final five dropping on Thursday, Nov. 7. In the new season of the Netflix series, somehow John B., Sarah, JJ, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo have run out of money and desperately need more to keep their new bait, tackle, and charter tour business, Kildare County surf shop, afloat. Whether they like it or not, the Pogues are back in the "G game" in Outer Banks season 4 part 1. On Sept. 24, Netflix released the official full trailer for the upcoming new season of the fan-favorite series, and once again, there's a lot at stake for our favorite characters as a new treasure hunt comes across their collective desk at the right moment. See: Financial desperation.
Outer Banks season 4 part 1 will fill in the gaps of what happened between the Pogues discovering El Dorado and the time jump that finds them accepting a request to track down Blackbeard's treasure. Suddenly, the find themselves in debt, which leads them back into the gold game. Their reputations as the elite treasure hunters in the Outer Banks precedes them!

Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” a sequel to the 1997 horror film in which he starred opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe.
Of the original cast members, Hewitt is in talks to reprise her role as well. Until her contract is finalized, Prinze is set to star alongside Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Haur-King. Camila Mendes was supposed to be in the film, but the “Riverdale” actor recently exited the project due to scheduling conflicts.
It’s unclear where the upcoming sequel will pick up, but the original “I Know What You Did Last Summer” follows four teens from a small seaside town stalked by a hook-wielding killer one year after covering up a car accident that was believed to be fatal. The film became a box office success with $125 million globally.

Riverdale alum Camila Mendes has parted ways with Sony Pictures' upcoming reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
According to Deadline, the actress simply could not make the production dates work after recently signing on to play the female lead in Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films' Masters of the Universe movie, in which she'll play Teela.
As previously reported, Mendes joins Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man in the live-action adaptation of the classic animated series.
Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King are still on board for supporting roles in Ikwydls, but we have no idea how losing its lead will impact the production.
We first learned that Sony was planning to develop a legacy sequel to the '90s slasher last year, with stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. in negotiations to reprise their respective roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson.

Madelyn Cline (“Outer Banks”) will star in Sony’s reboot alongside Sarah Pidgeon (“Gotham”), Tyriq Withers (“Atlanta”) and Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid).
Last we heard, both Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. were also in negotiations to potentially star alongside the fresh new faces.

Drew Starkey said heading to the Adr recording booth for Luca Guadagnino’s Queer was, ahem, a tinge awkward.
Starkey recalled the experience while conversing with co-star Omar Apollo in Interview magazine. Both spoke about having to record Automated Dialogue Replacement during postproduction of Queer, which is Guadagnino’s adaptation of the 1985 novel of the same name by William S. Burroughs. Starkey stars alongside Daniel Craig as the center of a relationship set in 1940s Mexico. In the interview, Apollo said to Starkey, “I know you have some really, really intimate scenes.”
“That Adr is fun,” Starkey said. “It’s always exertion and breaths and groans. Just you in a booth alone doing that, you feel like you’re in an insane asylum.”
Earlier this week, the movie was acquired by A24. At the time of the interview, Starkey told Apollo he had just seen the film for the first time.

Of course the Pogues aren’t just going to celebrate a win and be content to lead normal lives. If that were true, there wouldn’t be much to Outer Banks season four. The teaser for the upcoming season warns that they’ve got everything to lose and promises this will be their biggest adventure to date.
“Following last season’s 18-month flash-forward showing Wes Genrette’s proposal for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s treasure, Season 4 takes us back in time to the lead-up of that moment. After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the Obx and commit to having a ‘normal’ life. They’ve built themselves a new safe haven, officially dubbed Poguelandia 2.0, where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle, and charter tour shop,” reads Netflix’s synopsis.

But Season 4 will start before the tempting offer. Watch the first teaser below.

We're still waiting on the premiere date, but we know the interest in the Netflix original series is at an all-time high.

Twenty-seven years after the release of the slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer (watch it Here) and twenty-six years after the follow-up I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (watch that one Here), Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. might be reprising the roles of Julie James and Ray Bronson in a new sequel, which is set for a July 18, 2025 release date – and now there seems to be a chance that Brandy Norwood will be reprising her I Still Know What You Did Last Summer role in the film as well. The ’90s movie franchise I Know What You Did Last Summer returns with a brand new legacy sequel in 2025, with director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson promising that the new movie will not be disregarding the events of ’98 sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. The sequel starred Brandy as Julie’s roommate Karla, who survived the events of the film.
Does that mean Brandy could be making a return in next year’s legacy sequel? Last we heard, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. were in negotiations to potentially star alongside a cast of fresh new faces, and it sounds like the door is open for Brandy’s return as well.
The singer and actress tells Et Online this week, “I’ve heard some things about it. So hopefully. I don’t know how [Karla] would come back. I haven’t thought about that yet. But I know that she should come back.
