The SCEMD Public Information Office has the responsibility for all internal and external communications. Our public information officers promote public education for residents’ personal preparedness and emergency management issues. During emergencies, SCEMD PIOs coordinate all emergency information from partner state agencies to make sure residents receive timely, accurate information about their personal safety.
