TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 11-1-130 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY FESTIVAL THAT RECEIVES STATE FUNDING OR INCENTIVES MUST PROVIDE FREE ADMISSION TO ALL SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS THAT PRESENT A VALID PROOF OF RESIDENCY.
<a name="ew_f12c86a8d"=""><span lang="EN-US"="">B</span></a><span lang="EN-US"="">e it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:</span>
<a name="bs_num_1_546dfc4ea"=""><span lang="EN-US"="">S</span></a><span lang="EN-US"="">ECTION 1. <a name="dl_2f5a05dd8"="">C</a>hapter 1, Title 11 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:</span>
<a name="ns_T11C1N130_08b1e8e34"="">S</a>ection 11-1-130. Any festival that receives state funding or incentives must provide free admission to all South Carolina residents who present a valid proof of residency.
<a name="eff_date_section"=""></a><a name="bs_num_2_lastsection"=""><span lang="EN-US"="">S</span></a><span lang="EN-US"="">ECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.</span>
