Dhaval Mankad takes the helm as Head of IT at Vadilal Industries

Dhaval will manage enterprise applications, IT security, and infrastructure and also lead the company's digital transformation initiatives.

Dhaval Mankad has joined Vadilal Industries Limited as the Head of IT, following a significant career transition from his previous role as VP-IT (CIO) at Havmor Ice Cream (Lotte Group). Based in Ahmedabad, Dhaval will not only manage enterprise applications, IT security, and infrastructure but also lead the company's digital transformation initiatives. His oversight will include the overall IT strategy with key focus areas such as adopting cloud technologies, modernizing SAP ERP systems, developing web and mobility applications, leveraging data, strengthening the IT infrastructure framework, enhancing information security and governance, and streamlining IT policies. He will report to Mr. Kalpit Gandhi, CFO & Director.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Dhaval Mankad stated, "I'm excited to embark on this new journey at Vadilal Industries Limited, setting up and driving the digital transformation roadmap for the organization. I am confident that my three decades of experience and learning will significantly contribute to collaboration within Vadilal in bringing about the desired change."

Previously, at Havmor Ice Cream Private Limited (Lotte Group), he served as VP-IT and CIO for six years, where he led significant projects including digital transformation, process simplification and automation, enhancing security posture, cloud adoption, and SAP HANA migration. Prior to Havmor, he gained extensive experience at L&T Power, Pipavav Shipyard, among others, throughout the last 15 years of his three-decade-long career.
