Ashleigh loves working and interacting with others, ultimately leading her to human resources as her career path choice. Her favorite part about EDAG is the learning and growth opportunities - where each person is enabled to learn something new each day! Ashleigh's workdays never look the same, her tasks vary between - staffing, training, benefits, and more. Ashleigh prioritizes having a good work life balance with the support of EDAG. GRIZZLIES RACING GRAND PRIX // We are very excited to share the highlights from the Oakland University Grand Prix that took place on June 29th. EDAG was a proud sponsor of Grizzlies Racing this past season. We are always excited to be able to support student's efforts to innovate and get involved with the future of engineering. We would like to congratulate Grizzlies Racing for placing 2nd in the competition and finishing the course in 42.464 seconds. They truly were able to showcase their dedication, teamwork, and skills with this achievement. EDAG SPAIN ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC INFORMATIVE SESSIONS // The Electrics & Electronics department held another interesting information session. On this occasion, Enric Canadell i Serra, EE Manager, opened the session with an overview of the main updates regarding the structure and strategy of the department. The session continued with a presentation by Pablo Machuca Martínez, Business Development responsible at EE, who emphasised the importance of diversifying into new business opportunities, both within and outside the automotive sector. He also presented the progress made in the development of new products such as the IPU, the Can Datalogger, the Portable Test Bench and the Validation Assistant software, which contribute to the optimisation of vehicle validation processes and the safety of their execution. The meeting concluded with presentations from the team leaders, Jorge Montero Ridao, Toni Pardo and Albert Cardenas, who presented the responsibilities and functions, the organisational charts of the work teams according to organisational units and the respective clients. V., securing a notable third place among 43 prominent competitors in the automotive plastics industry 🥉. Key contributors to this success include Dr.-Ing. Stefan Caba, Head of Innovation Field Sustainable Vehicle Development, and our dedicated team at EDAG Innovation. Our winning project revolves around a Circular Economy Component: a 100% recycled side-skirt holder designed specifically for trucks. This innovative component, utilizing recycled materials, achieved remarkable outcomes including a 12% weight reduction and a 50% decrease in carbon emissions. What sets this project apart is the seamless integration of the cloud-based DigiPrime platform. This platform played a crucial role in facilitating part development, optimizing material sourcing, and enhancing processing efficiency.
