The 30-stock S&P BSE Sensex touched a lifetime high of 80,392.64 before ending the session at 80,049.67, up by 62.87 points or 0.08% while the broader Nifty scaled a peak of 24,401 before settling the day at 24,302.15, gaining by 15.65 or 0.06%.Here are the stocks that were in action on Thursday:

Shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders rose 20% on BSE to close at Rs 5,623.50, crossing the level of 1 lakh crore market cap.

Inox Wind

Shares of Inox Wind rallied 10.50% on BSE today to settle at Rs 157.30 on announcing that it will turn net debt free following the completion of infusion of Rs 900 crore into the company by its promoter Inox Wind Energy.

Lupin

Lupin shares rose to its new all-time high of Rs 1,766 and later closed 8.2% higher at Rs 1,764 on BSE after the company got a double upgrade in its rating from domestic brokerage firm Kotak Equities.

Persistent Systems

Shares of Persistent systems were up by 3.5% on BSE to close at Rs 4,757.20 after the company announced that it has entered into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of Starfish Associates.

Shares of HDFC Bank tumbled 2.25% on BSE to close at Rs 1,728 amid profit booking in the stock.
