Folia à la boutique Rue Royale, Paris Réalisée à la manière d'un décor de théâtre, la vitrine se compose de plusieurs panneaux modulables, dessinant les contours de la Forêt Vosgienne. Cette installation met en scène l'ensemble de la gamme Folia, soulignant l'harmonie entre les créations en cristal et leur source d'inspiration naturelle. Cet été, cette scénographie s'invite dans la vitrine de la boutique parisienne de Saint-Louis. Patrick Faigenbaum à la cristallerie Saint‑Louis Du 11 juin au 29 décembre 2024, l’espace lorrain de la Fondation met en lumière la série d’images prises par Patrick Faigenbaum lors de ses séjours à Saint-Louis en 2022. Arrivé à la cristallerie en suivant la piste d’un service de verres qui le fascinait depuis l’enfance, le photographe français a su saisir la lumière et la couleur du cristal. Mit dem Designer NOE DUCHAUFOUR-LAWRANCE als gemeinsamen Nenner hatten wir die besondere Ehre, ein exklusives Event mit den herausragenden Meisterwerken von Saint-Louis und Steinway & Sons zu veranstalten.   Die Wiener Repräsentanz der beiden Marken – Royal Maison für Saint-Louis und dem Steinway Showroom Vienna – haben zu einem inspirierenden Abend rund um die Schaffenswelt von Noé eingeladen. Schon 2017 hat Saint-Louis die von ihm entworfene Kristallkollektion Folia veröffentlicht, welche seitdem stetig weiterentwickelt und zuletzt durch die portable Leuchte „Mini Baladeuse“ ergänzt wurde. In der Zusammenarbeit mit Steinway & Sons hat Noé einen Flügel entworfen, der über die bekannten traditionellen Formen hinausgeht und nun in einer stark limitierten Edition präsentiert wird.   Der künstlerische Ansatz von Noé kam an diesem Abend besonders durch ein Interview mit ihm zum Ausdruck, in welchem er die Zusammenarbeit mit beiden Marken und seine natürliche Inspiration, welche sich in den organischen Formen der Kunstwerke widerspiegelt, erläuterte. Wir danken allen Beteiligten für dieses eindrucksvolle Event. Saint-Louis launched the Folia crystal collection designed by him back in 2017, which has been continuously developed ever since and was most recently complemented by the portable lamp “Mini Baladeuse”. In collaboration with Steinway & Sons, Noé has designed a grand piano that goes beyond the familiar traditional shapes and is now presented in a highly limited edition.   Noé's artistic approach was particularly evident in an interview with him that evening, in which he explained the collaboration with both brands and his natural inspiration, which is reflected in the organic shapes of the artworks.   We would like to thank everyone involved for this impressive event. Portrait de Ange Maurer, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) préparateur presse-papiers en cristal au sein de la Manufacture Saint-Louis, maison sœur d’Hermès située en région Grand Est, dans le village de Saint-Louis-Lès-Bitche. Véritable prouesse technique, le façonnage à la main d’un presse-papier mobilise un condensé de nombreuses techniques : l’étirage et la torsade à chaud de baguettes pour réaliser les parterres de millefiori, le façonnage au chalumeau et l’assemblage à chaud de couches successives de cristal. Autant de savoir-faire qui requièrent plusieurs années d’expérience. Ange nous partage son parcours : « J’ai grandi à Saint-Louis-Lès-Bitche avec un frère qui évoluait déjà dans le métier. Après l’obtention de mon CAP verrier en 2005, j’ai découvert à tout juste 14 ans un quotidien qui nécessite fantaisie et dextérité et permet de fabriquer des objets uniques et fascinants. Ce que j’aime, c’est que chaque objet est une surprise : décors intérieurs inédits, motifs, couleurs et formes innovantes. From April 16 to 21, 2024, two entirely new creations celebrate the skills and the craftmanship of the Manufacture. Ornamentalist Pierre-Marie revisits the richness of “hand-cutting” techniques through the Chamade collection. Designer Stefania di Petrillo was inspired by the hot twisting handcraft to create the elegant Torsade lighting collection. This tribute to Saint-Louis's glassmaking techniques, now inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, will be presented in the Santa Maria Del Carmine cloister in the Brera district. L’ornemaniste Pierre-Marie revisite la richesse de la taille au travers de la collection Chamade. La designer Stefania di Petrillo a été inspirée par le geste de torsion à chaud pour la collection de luminaires Torsade.
