Celebrating Eid al-Adha with Deliver Care Deliveries to Support our Driver Partners and Local Community in Johar Baru, Jakarta This Eid al-Adha, an Islamic festival that marks the end of Ramadan, we saw an opportunity to put our Deliver Care program into action by organising a meaningful celebration with our driver partners in the Johar Baru neighbourhood of Central Jakarta. Together, we conducted a ceremonial cow sacrifice, a sacred tradition that lies at the heart of Eid al-Adha. Following the ritual, our driver partners distributed the meat packages to local families in need. Our driver partners also received their own meat packages to enjoy with their loved ones. Turning Surplus into Support: #WorldFoodRescueWeek2024 We are pleased to have once again collaborated with Food Angel by Bo Charity Foundation, serving as the logistics sponsor for its inaugural World Food Rescue Week 2024. Our Director of Corporate Affairs, Bill Li attended the kick-off ceremony on 30 May, expressing Lalamove's pleasure in harnessing technologies and our platform resources to contribute to the reduction of food waste as well as a circular economy. Throughout the week from 30 May to 5 June 2024, we stationed our vans at 18 pop-up donation spots, making food donation more accessible within local neighbourhoods. Beyond these donation points, we also played a crucial role in collecting surplus food from over 100 participating units across various districts. We are thrilled to have collected and delivered a total of two tonnes of rescued food during this programme.
