n-hop technologies Limited is a technology startup. Two of our founders invented the BATched Sparse Code (BATS), a disruptive coding scheme in the Data Networking realm. The technology has obtained 10 patents with another one pending. The company started to commercialize the technology in 2019 by implementing the coding algorithm into software that operates in Industrial PC. We plan to populate the coding scheme/software into a wide variety of data communication devices. These include all types of wired/ wireless equipment and networks, IoT devices and sensors etc.

It is definitely another milestone for n-hop technologies. We are so happy to be granted by ITC of the HKSAR government for the Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus Scheme (RAISe+ Scheme). We heard that 90+ teams from the universities and institutes in Hong Kong that applied the scheme and we are one of the 24 grantees in this round (the first round of this scheme).
