Gratitude Note- On August 15th, India celebrated its 77th Independence Day, and we at Vidya: The Living School also took part in the celebration with a day-long event. A lot of people contributed their help to us in various ways to make this day special, and we are thankful to all of them. We want to give a special thanks to the respected district administration of Dhemaji district. We are grateful to Sanjib Phukan sir, who is the Hon'ble Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dhemaji district, for his significant help. Jayanta Baruadev from Scouts and Guides, as well as Manoj Duttadev, the owner of the Trinayan bus, also extended their help. We are grateful to the parents who lent their support in different ways. At Vidya:The Living, we teach not only regular subjects like Math, Science, and English, but also important life skills. Alongside these, we help students learn how to lead a happy life. We also show them how to contribute to their community and take care of the environment. In the summer break, our students get involved in community service and activities that promote environmental values. Some kids taught younger ones in their villages, some planted trees, and others used their skills to help out. Vidya: The Living School is delighted to announce the new addition of Vidya's Library this year. Thanks to Siddhartha Kakati's layout design, the library will accommodate 200 students for improved studying. The Vidya family extends its gratitude to him and Krishna Baideo for their goodwill. This library will be accessible to teachers, students, the community, parents, and alumni. The inauguration took place on 27th May 2023, in the presence of the Director, teachers, and parents. The first floor has been poured last month.
