“The moment Aishwarya joined the India Digital team I knew that we'd be on the same page. Her approach to digital isn't complicated. It's not about large teams, complex technology or neverending excel spreadsheets. The right outcomes for her business and of course her customers matter to her above all these things, and she knows how to achieve them in small, managable steps, solving one problem at a time. Prioritisation of the right initiatives is key to her. And though we were at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of supply and demand, I could effortlessly empathise with her needs as she never minced her words about her expectations. That is a key strength of hers: clear and concise communication. I truly enjoyed our time working together and the laughs we could share as well of course, thank you! ”

Here's how you can navigate the essential tools and software for beginners in digital strategy.
To me, all these tools can only enhance a great user experience. If you are a digital strategist the first thing you should be looking for is the ability to spot if not build great user journeys - Spend time understanding design thinking principles - Keep analysing great user journeys and what makes them great from any industry - The insights are astonishingly common - Develop time understanding backend and workflows. Poor digital experiences stems from poor understanding of core systems - You can make those elephants dance! - Talk to the oldies - They are the goldies for you to understand what parts of the systems can be hacked. Building a digital strategy and making it come alive for users is a rewarding experience - All the best!

Here's how you can overcome creative blocks as a product manager.
Actually get away from product management one day! Away from stand-ups and PRD. Go talk to data team or marketing team on interesting projects they are working on. Join some product-adjacent brain storming sessions. See if you can spend a day with your customer service/ sales folks. Blocks are real and you can re-energise by going back to the world where product gets used/ discussed about. And not to mention getting wider perspectives!

Here's how you can deliver ongoing feedback and evaluation to Product Managers.
While regular checkins are key, it needs to go beyond challenge/ support alone. Following needs to be part of it 1. A good product manager is someone who keeps shipping. Typically they are always also maintaining a big list of roadmap/ backlog grooming items. So key evaluation for a PM is checking in regularly asking for both. Asks also tells you how much on top of the product requirements/ customer needs they are. 2. The review of what's shipped needs to go into the regular discussion. Constant improvement will come from tangible feedback on delivery and product thinking. 3. Check if the PM is getting user perspectives - from talking directly or to sales folks or reading user reviews/ service interactions. Push for it.
