Korea University, founded in 1905, is widely acknowledged as one of the country’s oldest, largest and top-ranked universities in Korea.     Korea University recently hosted an empowering Women's Day event, "Be the Change," in partnership with the American Women's Club in Korea. Over 40 women, including 30 students from the Global MBA (18th batch), gathered to celebrate and discuss critical topics related to women's representation and empowerment. The event featured a diverse panel of accomplished women, such as H.E. Hyoeun Jenny Kim, Kumjoo Huh, Shampa Bari, and Professor Betty Chung, who shared their insights and experiences. Mentors from AWC generously volunteered their time to provide guidance to students, facilitating valuable connections and potential mentorships. This collaborative session not only raised awareness but also fostered new friendships among attendees, paving the way for future partnerships.
