We were proud sponsors of this year's 61st Halberg Awards, New Zealand's premiere event recognising and honouring outstanding achievements in sports. It was a night of glitz and glamour for guests at this exclusive event, made even better by our sleek and shiny HEINEKEN bar, where they could mix and mingle while sipping on a brew. We extend our congratulations to Dame Lisa Carrington, renowned kayaker and world champion, who received the prestigious Supreme Halberg Award of the night, and all the other category winners. Thanks to our HEINEKEN team, who worked hard on delivering the bar concept and ensured everyone could enjoy their favourite beer at this prestigious event. We've had a full calendar of events this summer, and last weekend was all about Beats in the Park and Synthony at Auckland Domain. We threw a VIP party for 500 guests the Friday evening before the main event to celebrate HEINEKEN Silver. Our VIP guests received a sneak preview of our special two-tier silver-themed bar, all lit up and ready to party, and toasted the sunset with ice-cold HEINEKEN Silvers. They then enjoyed some special entertainment by local talent Louis V and Lucy Hansard, rounding off the night with a set by international stars Rudimental. Our R18 HEINEKEN bar was again the highlight the following day at SYNTHONY, which kicked off at 2.30pm. More than 33,000 people attended on the Saturday, making the most of the beautiful weather and sunshine and of course, enjoying the light shows and music. It was a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of laughs, picnic blankets galore, snacks and an ice-cold beer or two for the grownups. The event wrapped up with the crowd singing along to the encore of Kiwi classic Bliss by Th'Dudes - a perfect ending to the perfect day out. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this event a success, especially our event partners The Supreme Group, Special PR, Urban Gourmet, Forge Production, Angus Muir and Duco. And also a big shout-out to our own events team at DB who's been out and about bringing all your favourite DB brews to you at your favourite events this summer Monique Gibson Kevin Goode Erica Mestrom

Beer, hot pies and sunshine. Christchurch turned on all the charm last weekend for the Great Kiwi Beer Festival, New Zealand's biggest outdoor craft brew festival, held each year in Hagley Park. Our team was on the ground showcasing some of our best craft crews from Monteith's and Tuatara, plus introducing festival visitors to Better Beer for the first time. The Monteith's and Tuatara beer gardens proved popular with those seeking some shade and relaxation. Visitors could grab a yummy West Coast Pie Company premium wild meat pie, to go with their ice-cold Monteith's - the perfect way to kick back and enjoy the atmosphere. Better Beer also proved popular with the crowd, selling out within five hours of the festival opening. Our team had a great time connecting with craft beer enthusiasts from all over the country, and we'll be back again next year with more of New Zealand's favourite craft brews from DB. Roll on 2025! Thanks to our amazing events, sales and marketing teams who made all this happen Erica Mestrom Kevin Goode Jeremy Veyret Brooke Freeman Samuel Lye Caleb Roberts Rosie O'Sullivan John Frith Joel McLeod

We've been taking full advantage of the sunshine the past few weeks to get out and about with some of your favourite DB brands. Last weekend, our Brand Events Manager (and unofficial roving reporter) Kevin Goode was at the Hot Spring Spas T20 Black Clash in Tauranga enjoying some high-intensity and hugely fun T20 cricket. This is the sixth year the event has run and over 10,000 people attended. Export was the beer of choice for fans on the day, with our Export Beer Garden and the Export Ultra Party Zone, in partnership with The Alternative Commentary Collective seeing lots of foot traffic. Fans at the Export Beer Garden were treated to a surprise performance by Kiwi chart topper Mitch James, plus entertainment by a local DJ and some fun and games. Over at the Party Zone, All Blacks coach and team rugby manager Scott Robertson created some lasting memories by leading fans in a rousing rendition of Sweet Caroline. In Auckland, our beer, cider and RTDs were front and centre at the Sunsetter food, wine and music festival in the North Shore. Roving reporter Kevin popped back for this multi-sensory event and was happy to report that it was an epic day with an electric atmosphere. HEINEKEN was the beer of choice for many. That's it for last weekend. Looking forward to seeing many more of you over the next few golden weeks of summer.

The ASB Classic is a summer tradition in Auckland and we're proud to have been a part of it again this year. We may be slightly biased but we reckon our HEINEKEN Bar at The Serve was THE place to be seen 👀. Our bar served up ice cold HEINEKEN Original, the new low-carb HEINEKEN Silver and the full-taste HEINEKEN 0.0. We also offered tasty light snacks and had tunes playing all day. HEINEKEN has a long association with the ASB Classic and we want to take this opportunity to congratulate this year's champions: Alejandro Tabilo for the men's singles, and Coco Gauff for the women's singles. Our Corporate Affairs Director Lauren Mentjox is pictured with Coco in this album. We will be following their future careers with interest!

The sun's been shining the last few days in Auckland, New Zealand - perfect weather for a spot of tennis watching at the ASB Classic. We've been busy at our Heineken bar, The Serve, the ultimate place to enjoy an ice-cold lager and stay in the shade with some fries, tacos and tunes throughout the day and night. We've had a fantastic time last week following some world class tennis at the women's tournament. Congratulations to superstar and defending champion Coco Gauff on her win against the equally impressive Elina Svitolina in the women's singles on Sunday night. On to the men's tournament this week and it's shaping up to be another excellent few days. Thanks to our events team The Supreme Group and Events Direct for helping us bring our dreams to life for The Serve and our hospitality box The Glasshouse. Will you be following the ASB Classic this week?
