We are very proud of partnering with The Max Foundation to enhance treatment accessibility for HR positive/HER2 negative advanced breast cancer patients in many low and middle-income nations.

A shift in the attitude of policy makers and the public must occur to ensure all people with MBC/ABC are recognized and receive individualized treatment with an honest but positive approach. This shift is necessary so that people with MBC/ABC feel empowered and are supported to continue to contribute to local communities and wider society. On World Social Media Day, we remind you that social media can have a great impact on people with Metastatic Breast Cancer. According to a 2021 study, conducted by MetUpUK, people with MBC are looking for support in a community, information to help them manage their own emotions and feelings and ways to support their own mental health needs if unable to access that support elsewhere. Facebook is the most used social network, due to the numerous forums that offer support to people with MBC. MET UP UK
