On the 3rd of July 2024, an EU regulation came into effect requiring caps and lids on beverage containers to remain firmly attached to the bottle after opening. The move, aimed at improving recycling initiatives and combating environmental pollution ♻ , created divisive opinions among social media users, so we decided to poll 300 consumers in the UK to find out how they really feel about this new law.
