Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey's autopsy reveals death by strangulation

According to police reports on Saturday, the post-mortem and FSL examinations of Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey, found hanging at her residence in Divya Dharma apartment in Bhagalpur, revealed strangulation as the cause of death. The actress was discovered dead in her Bhagalpur apartment on April 27, prompting the police to swiftly initiate an investigation. Bhagalpur SSP Anand Kumar stated, "Post-mortem and FSL reports indicate that strangulation was the reason for her death. We are seeking expert opinions and will act accordingly." Amrita's body was found hanging, with no suicide note discovered. Her mobile phone contained a WhatsApp message reading, "Do Naav Me Sawar Thi Uski Zindagi, Hamne Apna Naav Duba Kar Uska Safar Aasan Kar Diya." Amrita, residing in Mumbai, had traveled to Bhagalpur for a family event. Her sister, Veena Pandey, discovered her body and rushed her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Amrita is survived by her husband, Chandamani Jhangad, an animation engineer. Additionally, apart from Bhojpuri films, Amrita was active in Hindi films, web series, television shows, and advertisements.
