Riddhi Sen is set to feature in yet another Bollywood movie? Speculations are rife that the National Award winning Bengali actor is going to be a part of Anurag Kashyap’s next directorial. The acclaimed actor of Tollywood has already shared the screen with Kajol in ‘Helicopter Eela’ in 2018. Before that, Riddhi was seen in films like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Parched’. As per our sources, Riddhi is gearing up for his next Hindi project.

Riddhi debuted with ‘Open Tee Bioscope’ in 2015, when he was still a teenager. Since then, he has been part of films like ‘Samantaral’, ‘Nagarkirtan’, ‘Bismillah’. Riddhi, who is an acclaimed thespian, won the National Award for best actor for ‘Nagarkirtan’, becoming the youngest actor to achieve this feat.

For his next, Anurag Kashyap has joined hands with Nikhil Dwivedi for a thriller. The film is reportedly based on a true story involving a man wrongly implicated in a rape case. The film features Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. This project marks the long-awaited partnership between the actor and director. The production of the film is scheduled to begin in May, with most filming to take place in Mumbai.

On the other hand, Anurag has received appreciation for his last directorial ‘Kennedy’, which starred Rahul Bhatt and Sunny Leone in lead roles.

Their mutual admiration dates back to 2017 when they first discussed working together. The opportunity finally arrived when Anurag pitched this intense script, fulfilling their shared desire to create something impactful. With a reportedly ensemble cast, this film is expected to be on a grander scale, compared to Anurag’s recent works.
