JAIPUR: In the Rajasthan Lok Sabha election 2024, the BJP emerged victorious in 14 seats, while the INC secured 8 seats, and 3 others were won by INDIA bloc partners. The winning candidates from the INDIA bloc included CPM's Amra Ram in Sikar, BAP's Rajkumar Roat in Banswara, and RLP's Hanuman Beniwal in Nagaur.
The contest in Jaipur Rural was one of the closest in the country, with BJP's Rao Rajendra Singh narrowly defeating Congress's Anil Chopra by a margin of just 1,615 votes. On the other hand, BJP's Mahima Kumari Mewar secured the highest winning margin in the state, defeating Congress's Damodar Gurjar by 3.9 lakh votes in Rajsamand.
Several Lok Sabha seats, such as Udaipur, Jalore, Pali, Dausa, and Banswara, witnessed winning margins exceeding 2 lakh votes.
Chittorgarh witnessed the second-highest margin in the state, with BJP state chief CP Joshi defeating Congress's Anjana Udailal by 3.8 lakh votes. In Jhalawar-Baran, BJP's Dushyant Singh emerged victorious against Congress's Urmila Jain Bhaya, wife of Pramod Jain Bhaya, by a margin of 3.7 lakh votes.
