Vijay Sethupathi reveals 'RC 16' is a Indian sports drama!

Actor Vijay Sethupathi's recent film 'Maharaja' was released in theatres on June 14 and the movie grossed more than Rs 40 crore at the box office. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, it has been critically acclaimed and to celebrate the success of the film, the actor made a special trip to Hyderabad last night to meet his fans and share his gratitude.
The actor also met Tollywood director Buchi Babu Sana in Hyderabad and speaking to the media he revealed that it was not a courtesy call but to discuss the upcoming project of the director with him, 'RC 16' with Ram Charan playing the lead. Vijay Sethupathi told the media that he is well aware of Buchi Babu Sana's writing and is also familiar with the storyline of the movie. He said that the upcoming film 'RC 16' starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor will be a blockbuster. The actor further revealed that it is an Indian sports drama.
Vijay Sethupathi is set to play an important role in the film. The movie was launched in March this year and the makers as of now have revealed that Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi are part of the cast and the music for it is composed by AR Rahman. More updates are awaited.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ram Charan is shooting for his film 'Game Changer' with Shankar and Janhvi Kapoor is shooting for her film 'Devara'.
