Husband opposes daughter's marriage, wife trades goats for his murder in Telangana
HYDERABAD: Police have arrested a woman for her alleged involvement in the murder of her husband in Jadcherla of Telangana's Mahbubnagar district. The police have also arrested three others who committed the crime.

As per the police, the woman struck a deal with the three accused promising to give them three goats as payment for the murdering.

The victim, 46-year-old Chinna Anjaneyulu, a shepherd, had objected to his teenaged daughter constantly talking on the phone with a boy from Hyderabad whom she had befriended on Instagram.
When the daughter said she wanted to marry the boy, he opposed it. His wife Bhagyalakshmi, however, intervened. The woman and her daughter were allegedly thrashed by Anjaneyulu.
According to Jadcherla police inspector Adi Reddy, Bhagyalakshmi then hatched a plan to get rid of her husband. She approached a woman Maisamma of the same village and promised her to give her three goats if she murdered her husband.


Chinna Anjayeyulu was murdered on June 21. Police, who investigated the case, revealed the details of how the murder was executed.


Bhagyalakshmi allegedly made her husband to consume liquor asked him to sleep in a shed where the goats were tied. Maisamma, along with another woman Muthyalamma and one Narasimha then approached Anjayeulu who was asleep, tied him up and slit his throat.


The police, while investigating the case, checked the mobile call data of Bhagyalakshmi which led them to unravelling the murder.
