Kamal Haasan reacts to teaming up with Rajinikanth again: 'We made this call when we were in our 20s'
Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have been ruling the Tamil movie industry for decades. The two titans have worked together in their early days in cinema, and their union on the big screens is highly anticipated. Kamal Haasan has now addressed the most asked question of whether he would team up with Rajinikanth and also opened up about his rapport with the Thalaivar.

The Ulaganayagan expressed that they are ‘not a new combination’, as they have done many films together. He also stated that later they decided not to work together. “We are not like two competitors. We had the same mentor. Unlike any other place, the competition is there, openly. But there’s no envy and it’s two different paths,” Kamal Haasan said.

He shared that they never make snide remarks about each other, and they made that call when they were in their 20s. “It’s not that we became older and wiser now,” he said.

Kamal Haasan also commented on the surging cost of entourage costs. “Don’t pay these actors so much… If you don’t want them, find new actors. If you want a superstar, pay him. If you don’t want or can’t afford him, don’t. It’s as simple as that,” he said.
