Pathaan to be screened in premium formats at 6 am in India!
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a comeback into films with Pathaan after a long wait of four years. And it looks like the anticipation of watching SRK on the big screen is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. The Siddharth Anand directorial, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles, will be screened in premium formats from 6 am onwards in India.
According to the trade source, Yash Raj Films (YRF) have decided to screen Pathaan in premium formats such as IMAX 2D, CGV 4DX 2D, D-BOX 2D, PVR P[XL] and CGR ICE 2D, due to the unprecedented demand from the audience.
Earlier in the day, ETimes informed you that Mumbai theatre owner Manoj Desai has decided to release Pathaan in both Gaiety-Galaxy after five years.

ETimes has now learned that the Shah Rukh Khan-led 'Pathaan' will open in Gaiety and Galaxy both. The buzz in the trade is that the film might amass Rs 35 crore opening on its first day.


According to early estimates, Pathaan is expected to have a bumper opening of Rs 35-40 crore going by the huge numbers from advance bookings. There are still a few days left for the movie to release and these numbers are only expected to grow.

The makers of Pathaan have refrained from doing any promotional activity to cash in on the euphoria of watching SRK again on the big screen. Some of the fan clubs of SRK have booked an entire theatre to celebrate the return of the King Khan in cinemas. Pathaan will hit the theatres on January 26 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
