Zelio X Men electric scooter with up to 80 km range launched at Rs 64,543: Details

Electric vehicle startup Zelio Ebikes has launched its latest X Men low-speed electric scooter, priced from Rs 64,543, ex-showroom. The model range has been classified into five variants with the top-of-the-line trim costing Rs 87,573, ex-showroom. The X Men scooters are available in multiple colour options to choose from,such as black, white, sea green, and red.
The entry-level model features a 60V/32AH lead-acid battery, offering a range of 55-60 km and a charging time of 7-8 hours. The second variant comes with a 72V/32AH lead-acid battery, delivering a range of 70 km and a charging time of 7-9 hours. The top model boasts a 60V/32AH lithium-ion battery, comes with a claimed range of 80 km with a reduced charging time of 4 hours.
Moreover, every variant is equipped with a 60/72V BLDC motor. As per the company’s claims, these lightweight scooters, weighing only 80 kgs, can carry up to 180 kg.

In terms of features, the X Men scooters get an anti-theft alarm, front disk brakes, rear drum brakes, and alloy wheels. Additional features include a reverse gear, parking switch, auto repair switch, USB charger, hydraulic shock absorbers, digital display, and central locking. The company, in a statement, said that this lineup is designed to cater to school students, college goers, and office commuters seeking a lightweight, stylish, and efficient transportation option.
In other developments, the company recently inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Ladwa, Hisar, Haryana.
