AirAsia announces tickets as low as Rs 5000 to Kuala Lumpur from Chennai, Bangalore

CHENNAI: AirAsia has announced promotional fares as low as Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000 from Chennai and Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur as part of a one million-free seats offer to mark flying 200 million passengers.
The fares are available for travel between January 7 and August 5, 2014.
The fares, including taxes, will be Rs 5,000 from Chennai to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 3,820 from Chennai to Bangkok, Rs 4,000 from Kochi and Tiruchirappalli to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 6,000 from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur, Rs 5,000 from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur and Rs 3,320 from Kolkata to Bangkok.
The fares are expected to be beneficial for tourists as AirAsia is also offering promotional seats with one way base fares, including taxes, as low as Rs 1,413 from Kuala Lumpur to Bandung, Medan, Jakarta and many other places.
Domestic destinations from Kuala Lumpur such as Penang, Langkawi, Johor Bahru, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Alor Setar and Kota Kinabalu are included in the free seats. Among the international destinations featured for free seats include Singapore, Brunei, Hat Yai and many more.
