10 rupees coins not being accepted.
This is to bring to your notice that some commercial establishments are not accepting 10 rupees coins. Gayatri dairy in Khokhra is not accepting the said coins and the reason given is that their bank is not accepting these coins. When asked to complain about it to the RBI, I was informed that they have already done that but have not received any response.Osia Hypermarket, an establishment in Khokhra refused to accept 10 rupees coin without the rupee symbol though the RBI has said it is a legal tender and not fake. How can a legal tender of the country be refused to be accepted by a bank or a commercial establishment?
