Congress candidate Ramakant Khalap criticizes Union Minister Shripad Naik for being non-visible on local issues and not speaking up on important matters like the Mhadei river diversion.

Congress candidate for the North Goa seat, Ramakant Khalap, said Union minister and five-time MP from North Goa Shripad Naik has given up on all local issues. “Our MP is not visible. We are good friends, but it doesn't mean that I shouldn’t speak about his non-visibility. When he was asked why he didn’t open his mouth when the Mhadei was being diverted, he didn’t answer but he said that if the DPR is not withdrawn, he would resign. It was a very bold statement. We are waiting. Unfortunately, we don’t hear him anymore,” Khalap said. Watch him speak his mind on his friend and contender Shripad Naik.
