VHR can lead T Congress: Jayaprakash

HYDERABAD: Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy on Wednesday said the party veteran leader and AICC secretary V Hanumanth Rao was a strong leader from the backward classes community and had all the eligibility to lead the party in Telangana.
In an informal chit chat with the media persons, Jayaprakash Reddy said: “V Hanumanth Rao is a loyalist of the Congress party. If party high command decides to give the post of T Congress president to a BC leader, then it should be Hanumanth Rao.I am extending my support to Hanumanth Rao in such a case,” said Jayaprakash Reddy.
However, he also threw his weight behind former chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha stating the Madiga leader was equally capable.
