Rahul Gandhi will lead country someday: Pawar

MUMBAI: Sharad Pawar on Wednesday said Rahul Gandhi was being taken seriously after the Bharat Jodo Yatra and “will provide leadership to the nation someday.”

On a question about his association with industrialist Gautam Adani, Pawar said, “I am open to development.” When asked about Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of Adani, Pawar said, “Ask Rahul Gandhi about it.”

Rahul's chief advisor, Vijay Mahajan, visited the temple town and met with religious leaders. Mahajan sought guidance from the seer for the Congress leadership and was advised to develop collective leadership and avoid a negative attitude towards the Ram temple. The second phase of the yatra is expected to cover two dozen parliamentary seats and begin from Porbandar in Gujarat, ending in Agartala, the capital of Tripura.
