Rohit Sharma bats in nets at BKC

The Indian cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, was injured recently and is not available for the upcoming t20i series against Sri Lanka. However, Rohit has been doing some batting practice at the Mumbai Cricket Association's Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground and today morning he came to the Mumbai dressing room.

MUMBAI: In an indication that he could be available for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka in early January at home after having recovered from a finger injury, Indian captain Rohit Sharma batted in the nets at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground in BKC on Sunday.
“He batted at the nets for 15 minutes separately, and then at the nets of the Mumbai Ranji team, today morning.
Afterwards, he came to the Mumbai dressing room too,” said a person present at the venue.
