Congress Ulloor block president Sanal Kumar booked

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mannanthala police registered a case against Congress Ulloor block president for threatening a person and forcefully deleting some videos of a clash between the party members from his phone during the Lok Sabha election campaign period.

On the complaint of Patheesh Surendran, 43, of Kattil Veedu at Karikkakom, the case was registered against Sanal Kumar under section 43 of Information Technology Act-2008.

In the complaint Patheesh stated that he was filming the campaigning at Mannanthala and in the meantime a clash erupted between the party workers. Seeing him filming it, the accused allegedly snatched his mobile phone and deleted the video by forcing him to share the password.
