Gujarat beat Andhra by innings and 195 runs

Gujarat defeated Andhra by an innings and 195 runs in a group a league match of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy Tournament on Tuesday. Andhra were shot out for 123 runs in their second innings after Gujarat declared their first innings at 511 for eight after resuming the third day at 361 for three. Vishal B Jayswal took four wickets, Jayveer Sinh three while Smit Patel and Smriti Prajapati each claimed one for Gujarat. The best part of Andhra innings was the 78run stand for the third wicket between Sk Rasheed 48 and S Tarun 36 earlier. Gujarat Captain Kshitij Patel missed century by the narrowest of margins but added 165 runs for the fourth wicket with the other overnight batter Sunpreet Bagga 145 307b4x18 this is Bagga’s second consecutive century stand in the innings Gujarat now have 28 and consolidated their position at the top of the table. Visakhapatnam: Gujrat defeated Andhra by an innings and 195 runs in a Group A league match of the Col. CK Nayudu trophy tournament at the Anantapur Sports Village on Tuesday.
Andhra were shot out for 123 runs in their second innings after Gujarat declared their first innings at 511 for eight after resuming the third day at 361 for three. Vishal B. Jayswal took four wickets, Jayveer Sinh three while SM Prajapati and Smit Patel claimed one each for Gujarat.

The best part of Andhra innings was the 78-run stand for the third wicket between Sk Rasheed (48) and S. Tarun (36). Earlier Gujarat captain Kshitij Patel missed century by the narrowest of margins but added 165 runs for the fourth wicket with the other overnight batter Sunpreet Bagga (145; 307b,4x18). This is Bagga’s second consecutive century stand in the innings.
Gujrat now have 28 and consolidated their position at the top of the table. Andhra remained on 15 points and play against Bihar at the same venue from January 29.
