Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Bachelor of Planning (B.Planning) are undergraduate degree programs focusing on architecture and urban planning, respectively.
Let's take a closer look at each one:
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
A B.Arch degree is a program where students learn to become licensed architects. They study various aspects of architecture like design, construction, history, and environmental science. After finishing the degree, they can work as architects in different places like firms, construction companies, or government agencies. Some might also decide to further their studies or specialize in certain areas of architecture.
Bachelor of Planning (B.Planning)
A B.Planning degree is all about learning how to plan cities and regions. In this program, students study things like how cities are designed, how land is used, and how to plan for the environment and transportation. After graduating, they can work as planners in different areas like city planning, transportation, or the environment. They might find jobs in government, consulting, non-profits, or private companies that deal with real estate or infrastructure.
