Delhi elections 2020: AAP to deploy 1.6 lakh booth-level volunteers

Aam Aadmi Party will deploy an army of 1,65,000 volunteers at all the 13,750 polling booths across 70 assembly constituencies going to polls on Saturday. At each polling booth, 12 AAP volunteers, including two booth agents and 10 mobilisers, will be deployed to encourage people to come out and vote. The activities of all the booth-level workers, who are locals, will be closely monitored from assembly-level war rooms.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will be monitoring the party activities from his residence. An additional war room created at the city-level will keep a tab on the party's trained volunteers on the ground. While the assembly-level war rooms have 20 persons each, the central war room will be manned by 80 party volunteers.
