Joseph Quinn shares Marvel advice from co-star Lupita Nyong'o

Joseph Quinn received valuable advice from his "A Quiet Place: Day One" co-star Lupita Nyong'o about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The 30-year-old actor is set to play Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch, in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie, which will begin production in July.

Quinn told People that Nyong'o, who is already part of the MCU, was very supportive and encouraging. “She said that I’m going to have a blast and to enjoy it. She was very helpful when I was considering all of that stuff,” Quinn shared. Nyong'o spoke fondly of her own experiences in the Marvel world, which reassured Quinn about his new role.

In a playful tone, Nyong'o also mentioned giving Quinn “the 10 commandments of Marvel.” She humorously advised, “Say nothing. Let’s see … steal something. Take [behind-the-scenes] pictures, even if they tell you not to.”
