Today is World Tattoo Day and if you are planning to get a tat done in the future, how about seeking some inspiration from these Hollywood stars?
David Beckham: He’s the King of Tattoos, for sure with over 50 inkings. Football star and proud dad, David got a tat with the word ‘Harper’ on his chest when his daughter was born. He also has ‘7’ and ‘99’, Roman numerals and angel, among others.And who can forget his tattoo in Sanskrit that reads ‘Victoria’, named after his wife Victoria aka Posh Spice.
Angelina Jolie: Here’s another actress who has a serious love for inkings. Angelina Jolie has 21 tattoos, including one with a ‘khmer’ script, cross and a Bengal tiger tattoo on her lower back. She’s also said to have tattoos of the coordinates of the birthplaces of her kids.
Selena Gomez: The ‘Bad Liar’ singer has a tat as a tribute to her sister. It’s a lowercase cursive ‘g’ which is for Gracie, her younger sis. In addition to other stats, she has one that says ‘4’ which is the same as her other three besties and it stands for their love and unity.
Rihanna: Pop queen Rihanna who’s said to love tattoos, got a tattoo of stars down the back of her neck, a shark on her ankle and music notes on her foot in addition to other tats. She also has best friend Melissa Forde’s birthday tattooed on her shoulder.
Bella Thorne: ‘Ride’ actress and singer Bella Thorne’s sleeve tattoo went viral a few years ago. It had line drawings and showed a woman in a gown with flowers in her hand. She also has other tattoos like a number tattoo and a cat tattoo.
Adele: Pop singer Adele’s tattoo on her right hand is endearing. It has the name of her son, Angelo. She also has a ‘One Penny’ tattoo to honour her mother, Penny.
Jessica Alba: Actress Jessica Alba has three astrology tattoos, that were reportedly done to celebrate her daughters - Honour, Haven and Hayes.
