Priyanka Chopra has become a global icon through her relentless hard work and determination. She has always expressed her ambition to dominate the global stage, and today, she does it with ease. Her mother, Madhu Chopra, recently shared an anecdote that emphasizes Priyanka's dedication and work ethic from the very start of her career.

In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Madhu reminisced about her daughter’s salad days in the cinema. Madhu Chopra revealed that Priyanka was so fixed on perfecting the dance moves that she used to practise from morning to evening. Priyanka Chopra made her debut in cinema with the 2002 release ‘Thamizhan’ starring Vijay.

Madhu also divulged that after being crowned Miss World, Priyanka wasn’t keen about starring in films. And when she received the first project, she didn’t want to do it, however, her mother asked her to give it a try. “When she was shooting for the film, she began to like it. Despite not knowing the language, she enjoyed it,” Priyanka’s mom reminisced.

She also expressed that Vijay is a perfect gentleman. And once the shoot started, Priyanka Chopra was relentlessly working on the dance steps, she used to practise with choreographer Raju Sundaram from morning to evening, as she wanted to match up to the dance moves of Vijay!
