In his post, Singh congratulated the entire team of 'Kalki' for their mind-blasting opening and expressed hope that fans enjoyed the look of Bachchan's character, which was designed by Preetisheel and executed by him on set. “ Congratulations to the whole team of Kalki for mind blasting opening. To achieve Ashwatthama's aged and weathered look, Bachchan underwent a meticulous three-hour prosthetic transformation every day on the set
The process involved distressing the fine mul cotton fabric used for Ashwatthama's costume, giving it a sheer and aged appearance. The multiple bandages that wrap the character's wounds were designed to look as if they had been soaked in blood and turmeric over the years.
