Here’s why Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali changed its title multiple times - Exclusive

Salman Khan’s Eid 2023 home production, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was originally titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, in keeping with the secular spirit of the script.

But then Salman’s team thought the inter-religious mix in the title didn't really jell with the current political mood in the country. So for a while, they decided to call the film Bhaijaan. This title was quickly dropped as it was seen as way too non-secular. Also, hasn’t Salman already done a film called Bajrangi Bhaijaan?

The current, and hopefully final, title Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was chosen by Salman. “Salman has taken every decision on this project, from the title, to the cast, to the songs and the editing,” a friend of the actor informs.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is Salman’s lengthiest title since Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam.
