Dheekshith Shetty bags a film alongside Telugu star Nani

Dheekshith Shetty is currently over the moon. He has bagged himself a plum role in one of the most anticipated pan-Indian films that stars Telugu star Nani in the lead. The film is titled Dasara and the first glimpse of the film was showcased on Sunday.
"It was in my previous Telugu film, the anthology Meet Cute, that Nani sir noticed me and liked my work. He, along with the assistant directors, suggested that I would fit the bill when the makers of this film were looking for a particular character," says Dheekshith, who has begun shooting for the film.
About the film, he adds, "It revolves around the lives of three individuals, who are played by Nani sir, Keerthi Suresh and I.We have a great technical team and some amazing actors on board."
The Dia actor says that he never thought that he would be doing Telugu films. "I had never imagined that. It was after Dia that I managed to get some films in Telugu, following which Meet Cute happened, where I got noticed further. Today, I get to do a film like Dasara, which is just unbelievable," he shares.
The first look of his upcoming Kannada sci-fi film Blink was also released over the weekend. "This is another film that I am excited about, as I am collaborating with people who I have worked with since my theatre days. I am balancing my Telugu and Kannada projects. It feels good, as in October last year, I had no shoot days for nearly five months. Things have turned around since February, when these two projects took off," he says.
