Unni Mukundan elected as the Treasurer of AMMA; pens a heartfelt note - See inside

Unni Mukundan has been elected as the Treasurer of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). The actor has now penned a note about taking over the responsibility.

In a note shared on Instagram, Unni Mukundan expressed that he is ‘deeply honoured’ to be elected as the Treasurer.

“Dear esteemed members of AMMA and the respected public, I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been elected as the Treasurer of AMMA, a position that carries significant responsibility and trust. Being chosen for this role without challenge is a testament to the confidence you have placed in me, and I’m committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and dedication in serving our organization,” he said.

He also extended his gratitude to Siddique, who had been the Treasurer earlier. “I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Shri Siddique for his exemplary service as the previous Treasurer. His dedication and hard work have set a high standard, and I’m grateful for the strong foundation he has built. Together, we will work towards fostering unity, growth, and excellence within our community. I look forward to collaborating with each of you to further our shared goals and aspirations. Thank you for your unwavering support. Congratulations to all newly elected office bearers and Exe Committee team!” he wrote.

Actor Siddique has been elected as the new general secretary. Actors Jagadish and R Jayan are the vice presidents. The tenure of the new office bearers is from 2024 to 2027. Baburaj is the joint secretary.
