Bobby Deol to play villain in Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel collaboration 'Dragon': Report

SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ was a milestone achievement in both Jr NTR's and Ram Charan's careers in the industry. After the worldwide success of ‘RRR’, Jr NTR is coming back with another pan-India project, ‘Devara: Part 1’, with Koratala Siva. The actor has also signed a project with Prashanth Neel, known for box office hits like ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’.

The Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel collaboration is tentatively titled ‘Dragon’. According to the latest reports, actor Bobby Deol is going to play the villain in this movie. After the massive success of ‘Animal’, Deol became one of the finest actors to portray fiery antagonist characters. If the recent reports are true, Jr NTR and Bobby will have a scary face-off in the upcoming film. At the same time, the report added that Rashmika Mandanna is expected to play the female lead.

A report in Pinkvilla stated that the title ‘Dragon’ was registered under the name of Karan Johar and was initially reserved for Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’. As the storyline changed, the makers dropped the title. Karan Johar handed over the title to Jr NTR. Meanwhile, Karan Johar's production house will be distributing ‘Devara: Part 1’ in the North belt.

Prashanth Neel is also busy making the sequel to the Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer, ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam’.
