Curd or dahi is widely used to reduce dandruff and enhance hair health because it is rich in vitamins B5 and D, and smooths out frizzy hair, promoting hair growth. Let’s take a look at ways in which one can apply curd on hair.
As a dose of hydration, mix the ingredients well and avoid clumps, with the help of a comb, distribute the curd and rinse it after half an hour with lukewarm water.
Mix a bowl of curd with mayonnaise and egg to promote hair growth by grabbing a medium-sized bowl filled with curd and 1 cup of mayonnaise, and applying the paste evenly.
Take 2 teaspoons of honey and mix it well with curd. Using a metal or wooden spoon, create a hair mask which would be a natural moisturizer.
Add ripped banana into small chunks with curd in a blender, and add 2 tablespoons of honey. Avoid large chunks and eliminate the frizz and dullness.
Always cover your head with a shower cap and make sure to cover your complete hair absorbing the curd completely.
Rinse out the mask thoroughly but opt for cool water as it keeps the follicle closed, you can also use warm water, but at times it can lead to hair fall.
Store your hair mask for 2 days in an airtight container in the fridge and then use your hair mask but do not keep a hair mask having banana mixed with curd.
Use vinegar, lemon, egg, besan, fenugreek, and black pepper with curd, and wear it as a hair mask for severe dandruff issues.
